Frozen

Was "Frozen" a really good movie or was it another little girl's Disney Princesses movie? The concept is interesting: There are two royal sisters, Anna and Elsa. Elsa has magical ice powers and Anna doesn't. Their parents planned on not letting anyone in on this secret including Anna for their own safety. But the king and queen die so Elsa becomes queen and the kingdom finds out and become mean to her so she goes away. Anna is very confused and upset so she runs after her.

Sometimes this movie is over dramatic for example the part where Anna finally finds Elsa and Elsa does not want to come home with her so they start singing. Elsa seems foolish to do that because she is queen and she can explain to her kingdom and Anna. There is always a solution for every problem and Elsa should be smart enough to realize that.

There are also fun moments in the movie "Frozen" like when the snowman joins the scene and begins to sing about wishing to see summer while other characters know he will melt! But there is a part where the movie tries to go too far with the funny and it becomes gross. Yes, I'm talking about the part where the stone trolls appear for the second time.

Over all, this movie is pretty good and is perfect for all ages. I suggest that you watch it for you will have fun!

I'm Not Scared Of...GHOST!

Or are you scared of ghosts? See how long you last once you've heard of these haunted hotels I've discovered with my Almanac!

Haunted Site#1: Hampton Court Palace, Located in London, England
This palace once belonged to King Henry VIII and now people say it is haunted by his wives! Visitors have repeatedly fainted in the exact same spot and some people hear the screams of the wives and their echos throughout a certain gallery and they have caught fire doors crashing open and a strange, shadowy figure shutting them closed.

Haunted Site#2: Hotel Castello della Castelluccia, Located Rome, Italy
This haunted hotel is said to be haunted by the Roman emperor Nero and guests have heard the hooves of horses trampling around this haunted castle at night.

Haunted Site#3: St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum
One day a cart carrying people fell into the ocean near this lighthouse some of those people were gone forever and never seen again. Visitors have heard spooky giggling, seen mysterious faces and a strange man in a lighthouse keeper uniform.

Ancient Egyptian Mythology

Ancient Egyptian mythology is very interesting and you may want to learn about it. Read on to learn all about the Egyptian gods, pyramids and pharaohs. And more!

Pyramids

The very first pyramid belonged to the pharaoh King Zoser and his architect Imhotep designed the pyramid. Pyramids are ancient Egyptian tombs built for pharaohs and wealthy people. The ancient Egyptians believed in the afterlife and buried things with the dead person to travel to the afterlife successfully. Some things that they buried were charms and amulets, statues of servants, food, jugs of water, the dead person's pets if they had any, valuable items such as gold and childhood toys. Pyramids are fascinating and one day you can go to Egypt and see one yourself!
Pharaohs

There are so many great pharaohs of Egypt! Khufu, Khafre, Tutankhamen and even Thutmose IV! Use this website to see them all:

Pharaohs are usually males but a few women were able to take the throne for example Cleopatra, Hatshepsut, Nefertiti and Twoseret. These female pharaohs are very interesting and you should also check out this website:

Egyptian gods

The ancient Egyptians had their very own religion and gods. They believed the god Amon- Ra, god of the sun, had created the world. Osiris was the god of the Underworld and his wife, Isis was the godess of protection and mother of Horus. Horus was the god of the sky and his father, Osiris, was murdered by his own brother Seth. Horus and Seth fought for the throne and Horus lost his eye. Seth is the god of chaos and his wife is Nepthys. Nepthys is the godess protecter of the dead and mother of Anubis. Anubis is the god of embalming. Bes is the god of childbirth. There are many more so I will leave you with a website:
