The ancient Egyptians believed in the afterlife and buried things with the dead person to travel to the afterlife successfully. Some things that they buried were charms and amulets, statues of servants, food, jugs of water, the dead person's pets if they had any, valuable items such as gold and childhood toys. Pyramids are fascinating and one day you can go to Egypt and see one yourself!
