As you might know, in my original Pan Am post, I wrote a bit about the Pan Am games. There are now 7 days until the games begin. They will start on July 10th. There is more to the Pan Am games than sports and all. There will also be an event called PANAMANIA which is a 35 day arts and cultural event. There will be more than 250 performances. It should be exciting!
The Pan Am games are pretty big. They are the third largest multi sporting event. The first Pan Am games were held in 1951 in Argentina. The Pan Am games have been almost everywhere. Canada has held the Pan Am games twice and this year, it will be our third time.
