This series by Rick Riordan is my all time favorite. It is about a boy named Percy Jackson who lives in New York with his mother, Sally Jackson and his stepdad, Gabe. His real father supposedly left on a ship and never came back just before he was born. He has ADHD and Dyslexia. He goes to Yancy Academy with is best friend, Grover Underwood. Percy has seen a lot of strange things but he never realized what they really were or why they happened. The Greek gods are walking straight out of his textbooks and into the modern world. Believe it or not, Percy is a part of their world. The first book is called "The Lightening Thief". The master bolt of Zeus is missing and Percy is the prime suspect. In the second book, Grover is kidnapped by a Cyclops in the Sea of Monsters. In "The Titan's Curse", Percy's friend Annabeth Chase is kidnapped as well by a traitor on Mount Othyrs. In the fourth book, "Battle of The Labyrinth", Percy and his friends go into the Labyrinth to find Aridne's String. In the fifth and final book, "The Last Olympian", Percy and his friends begin their nasty war with the Titans. If you have already read this series and love it, there is a second series called "The Heroes of Olympus" waiting for you! I hope you read this great series.
